Mat Pilates
My main focus is a complete mat practice which is used to enhance core stability, posture, and overall strength. Working on the mat allows you to focus on balance, stability and a sense of being grounded which supports the mind-body connection that is a core value in the practice of Pilates.
I love incorporating different types of equipment into my Pilates practice which is also supported by being on a mat. You can look forward to working with dumb bells, resistance bands, long bands, ankle weights, Pilates balls, yoga blocks and bolsters... and anything else that might inspire me!
I happily provide all the equipment you will need when attending my classes, so don't worry about having to bring anything with you other than your own amazing self! That being said, if you do have your own equipment and would prefer to work with that then please feel free to arrive fully equipped :)
